Ok...

If I want to rescue the data on it, I have to find out another WD400BB-00CAA1 in working order and replace the platter ? Confused

Do you know if the DCM code is important here or just the WD400 ...

Printed Circuit Board No. : 2060-001092-007 & Main Controller IC: WD70C23

I inspected it and there is no marks of burnt components. Seems good... maybe not... Confused

I have a HD that is spinning but it has a click-click sound at boot. What is the cause of this?
