You new PCB is a good match for your original drive. It should have worked. You might have some other problem with your drive, which have to be diagnosed accurately.

Ebay seems to have some...which you may have checked already but there seems to be many of them...at least the drives that is which you can still buy and just swap the boards once you get it.
