1. Find a Data recovery company to help you

Up from several hundred US$ (I think)

Merit: You worry about nothing, just pay the cash.
Demerit: Expensive

I think I will have a PC that using SSD (Solid state Disk)

So the primary Hard Disk is for OS and program application
(I think I will use DRAM DISK or Flash SSD)

1. Next time when you buy Harddisk, buy two identical one.

2. Waiting for cheap SSD

3. Buy Harddisk with single platter

4. Backup important files to a USB thumb or DVD

Maybe I damaged another part. I don't know which part.
You just broke the inductor after you shut the PC down right?
So it should works.

Of course, if you can find the right PCB, go get it.

I heard somebody call seagate to send them a firmware to flash.

ROM SWAP is quite difficult for me too

So I will ask a cellphone repair shop to paid them to do it for me.

ROM SWAP is using a iron shoulder to shoulder out the small 8-legs chip of the bad PCB to put it to the donor.

The ROM is quite small, if you are not use to using a iron shoulder,

Firstly, SATA PCB cannot put back on the ATA HARDDISK

If you got a working PCB but a wrong firmware

Just do the ROM SWAP

Move the 8-legs small chip from the patient to the donor.

OMG

I brought couples of inductors and put them back to the PCB
But again, the drive still doesn't work.

Now I asked a shop to get me one PCB
Hope that they can help me out.
