Hi, im having trouble with a hard drive it is a hitachi deskstar

this is the drive

Now my questions are can it be fixed??

do i need a new pcb?

Yes, if you will change pcb , it can help. But you need put original nv-ram and rom chips to new board.

your PCB diode burned. try to remove it. may be you can make it work again without get new PCB. Smile
