Can you describe the failure symptom?

If you upload a detailed photo, one of us may be able to help you repair your board, or at least confirm that the problem isn't elsewhere.

PCB number: 2060-771672-004 rev A

The drive spins up but does not mount.

That sounds more like an internal fault, not a PCB fault.

I haven't been able to find a photo of the component side of your board, but if it has an 8-pin serial flash memory IC at location U12, then you will need to transfer this IC to your donor PCB. This chip stores unique, drive specific "adaptive" information. Some board suppliers include a firmware transfer or ROM transfer service for US$10 - $20. Otherwise, if you are not adept at soldering, your local TV/AV repair shop should be able to do it for you.

If U12 on your PCB is vacant, then the adaptives will be stored within the Marvell MCU (big "M"), in which case a "ROM" transfer will be impractical for most DIY-ers.
