I´m not quite sure if a need a new HDD or a new PCB.

Working PC we remove the hdd to move the info in to a new PC, we use a Hi-Speed USB to SATA/IDE Adapter, and the hdd wasn´t recognized by the computer, an nothing happened. It doesn´t seem to be fried or burn the PCB, but it wont start or makes any kind of sound.

We think that the SATA adapter fried the PCB, so any help will be appreciated.
