Hi all,
I'm looking for a PCB for my external HDD Seagate GoFlex 1 TB model ST1000DM003, with Barracuda 7200.12. A component of the board is clearly burnt, so I hope a new PCB would resolve the problem.

on the PCB:
Board number: 100535537
Main controller: B5502C30
other component: SH6968B A
other component: Hynix 015E / H5DU2562GTR-E3C

on the hd label:
S/N: 6VP4DFKJ
ST31000528AS
P/N: 9SL154-568
Firmware: CC3E
Date Code: 10446
Site Code: SU

1) I read sometimes a transfer of the firmware is necessary, isn't it?
2) Are the data included in this post enough to identify univocally the PCB, or I should post a picture?

Thanks

Livio

But, will changing the PCB alone fix the problem. I think you will have to look up to all the compatibility. If you change the PCB, then you will have to see if it does fit properly in your cabin. Then you have to see if that is same as the one that holds you RAM. And what if your graphics driver does not fit into it?
