Well 14 days ago I got this new hdd, put all my stuff inside from the old 80gb one and everything was ok. I had made 3 partitions on this 400gb hdd, 30gb for windows, 30gb for another stuff and 330gb fo data storage. Lots of captured video, cd isos , dvd isos, and stuff. Yesterday was usind the computer normally and it rebooted. After the post the message : DISC READ ERROR CTRL+ALT+DEL TO REBOOT. Powede off tryied again no luck. Changed flat cable and nothing. After some time it decided to show in the bios but now only have 15gb. Yes a 400gb brand new hdd shows as 15gb. I don't know what to do since I dont wanna lose my data. But pay 1000U$ for it is something I can't do. My question is: What have gone bad? Ths disc spins, passes ok on seatools tests. Any help would be apreciated.
