I wondered if anyone knew how important the last 3 digits of a part number for a Seagate drive is when doing a PCB swap?

For example, if I have a part number of 9BJ04G-305 from a ST3320620A, firmware rev 3.AAE, then can I use any PCB with a P/N of 9BJ04G-xxx and the same firmware revision.

What are other people's experiences?
All the best,
John
