Hey guys,

Maybe someone can help me out there. I have found a similar hard drive to

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320 GB IDE
FW: 3.AAC S/N: 5QF01ERS ST3320620A P/N: 9BJ04G-300 DATE CODE: 06502 Site Code: WU

However, The new one has different S/N and Site code.

The old hard drive manage to spin and the computer detects it but I can't still open my files.

On VIsta, The hard drive is detected but it says unrecognized.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi,

First of all, I would like to thank you for your reply and your future help, which will be greatly appreciated specially for Christmas.

As i have previously posted, the drive does spin but do not get detected by the computer. It does now show in Manager nor in Disc Management.

(In my previous post, I do not remember how could my computer did recognized the hdd. It may have but in what i remember is that it does not show in My Computer.)

In the old PCB, a chip is burned. The ship is the second largest chip in the circuit board.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you again and Happy Holidays!!
