				First of all hello .

Right i have the above internal/external hard drive for my hp desktop,

Yesterday the hdd decided to stop i get the green power button flashing on the power cable and the blue power button flashing on the hdd, When i unplug the hdd the green light on the power cable stays on.

So i have taken the hdd apart and found that the pcb board seems to have burn marks on it where it connects to the hdd.

I have looked for a new pcb board mine is as follows

100354297 REV A

firmware 100335769 K

The closest i have found is

100354297 REV A Which is the same

firmware 100335769 L So it's just the last letter which is different

Do you think this could work?

Any help much appreciated |

It might work, you have to let us know.

It won't hurt to try it on this model.

Firmware is not the number you are showing, its usualy desplayed on a front sticker as FW.

If it won't work, you have to provide a full model number, FW code, P/N, Site Code and someone might have this board for sale. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

				| Post a picture of the PCB if possible; circuit side obviously. I'll see if I can see anything out of the ordinary. |
