Hi guys, you may of seen my post a month or so back about my Samsung drive and how it had ceased working after transferring it to a new Pc.
I couldn't find a definitive answer to my problem and therefore couldn't isolate the fault and while i'd have liked the data back I couldn't justify spending $1000 getting it back.
So the other day I was bored and thought why not give my drive another go, I connected it up and amazingly enough it was recognized(It had previously not even been detected by the bios) so I boot into windows and backup my data and now everythings good.
Now not being an expert I have no idea what happened to make it work, maybe the universe owed me a favour but it goes to show you shouldn't give up.As a way of balancing out I may even donate the board from my drive to another in need. |
