Hi, I have a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120GB drive with a fried circuit board. The closest circuit board I've been able to find is:

6Y120L0-PCB F4FYA

Mine is:

6Y120L0-PCB E4FYA

I found it at Ultratec (www.ultratec.co.uk) and they don't have any more details for me to match up.

Is this worth a shot?

Thanks,

Alex

I just replaced a circuit board on my Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 80GB and HDD is working great. The only thing that was the same is the 6Y080L0. Maybe I was just lucky, but I also found on couple of cites that that number meters only.
My new board does not have the same second number (F4FYA) as old one, so I believe that this is going to work.
Good luck!
