Hi All,

Anyone got a PCB from a Diamondmax 9 drive where the TLA number is:

6YxxxPxxx12xx

Thanks.

Thanks for the link but no joy there I'm afraid...They don't carry the firmware I require at the moment.

Tried that already too. No luck. There might not be many of those G8FYA f/w PCBs out there after all.

Thanks for the tips tho'! Very Happy

How sweet....I eventually found a YAR41BW0 board with the G8FYA revision. It had a Hynix flash instead of a Samsung one, but I plugged it in and my data is back. I'm copying it as we speak.

BTW, this isn't an advertisement, but I found the board at www.allegro.pl, a Polish site. A lot of drive sellers there seem to publish fairly hi-res images of their drives, which can be useful if you want to read a serial # etc....

Fortunately one of my students is Polish, so with his help, the deal went smoothly.

Life is good Smile

Thanks to your forum for the inspiration to try this.
