Hi I have a Hard disk where the circuit board has died.

If there is anyone who has a WD (Western Digital) circuit board starting with the numbers (they are on the connector usually) 2061-001179-000 I would be most appreciative if we can work something out. Even if I could just borrow it.

My drive also has the numbers Letters DBD1 after the 2061-001179-000 but my understanding that you could get away without this being the same sometimes.

Here's all the other info. I can find about this drive:

It's a 40 pin E-IDE Hard Drive

MDL: WD1200JB-32EVA0
DATE: 13 SEP 2003
DCM: HSBACVJAH

Circuit board Number:
2061-001179-000 DBD1 XW 1K15 9XUS 1 0001100 4101

Please, any help most appreciated.

Reg
