I have a WD1600JS-00NCB1 and the pcb fried yesterday - I was wondering if this replacement board will work

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270441437142&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123

All the numbers match except the DCM number is off by one 4th letter in. but the rest are the same exact.

You will have to transfer ROM chip in order to match Unique microcode of your drive. Otherwise it won't work.

I have this working PCB for sale, pls contact my hotmail. And I am sure that the PCB of the eBay link you post here will not used for your HDD even you do the rom swap, there are a capability compatible problem.

Thanks
Eric
