hello everybody

my hdd's NVRAM is not working or something , so i need to replace it witha working one from another board of the same model , right ?

well, its not read at all by bios ( port is read as empty )

however i went to a techincal company they told me the media is good but board is dead, i went to another company they told me te NVRAM is dead.... however , it runs ( i head hear it and it spins ) , thats all i can desribe : )

This is 2 very opposite results you have.

If board is dead.... how can your drive spin?
If NVRAM is dead, I don't think it would spin up at all, unless there is something different in your model...

Not both.
Your original PCB has unique adaptives to your drive, so even if you place a matching PCB on your drive it won't work.

If he knows what is exactly wrong with a drive, then he should be able to locate matching PCB for you. Professionals don't usually ask to locate parts for them.

when you swap PCB you had to swap NVRAM to good PCB too.

well , theydont have it and they want to fix it 3x the original price
