I have a second Maxtor OneTouch II 300GB Hard Drive, that will not rev up.

I believe that in this case also, a 19V power input was plugged into it instead of the 12V it requires, and I understand that this is a somewhat common error and that a frequent result is a fried TVS Diode.

As before, I have attached some pictures of the board and I am hoping someone with more knowledge than me can diagnose if this is the problem and, if not, what the issue might be...

I welcome any advice and proposed solutions. Thanks.

Get an Ohm meter and check the forward/reverse readings n the BIG BUX diode right below the CR200 label. If it reads zero Ohm in both directions its fried (even if it does not look fried). If it reads high resistance one way and low the other it is good.
